Fragrances I Love!

I like perfume just as much as the next girl but picking perfume is a daunting task. You go to the store, smell so many that your head is in a fog, leave the store with something that you aren't quite sure of! It happens to the best of us. I suggest, when picking a perfume, that you ask for samples. Most department  stores have tiny vials or small packets but Sephora will let you take home a larger vial of fragrances that you're considering. Wear it for a few days, if you like it, go back and buy it...if you hate it, try another. I never buy perfumes that are larger than about 2.5 ounces. There's no way you will use that much perfume! I buy a few different fragrances and wear different ones depending on my mood.

Here are some of my favs!

1. Vera Wang- Princess
I love this fragrance for the summer because it's sweet a very light.

2. Michael Kors- Very Hollywood
This is my winter scent that's definitely staying with me during the summer. It's citrusy with a touch of floral.

3. Victoria's Secret- Sexy Little Things Noir
This is my going out perfume, it's a mix of fruits and amber.

4. Lacoste- Inspiration
This perfume is perfect for a spring day on the lake. It's very light ,with fruit and florals. It's the only perfume with the woodsy sandalwood that I like.

5. Marc Jacobs- Lola
This fragrance is modern, fun and flirty with lots of pear and a hint of grapefruit.
Marc Jacobs Lola

6. Kate Spade- Twirl
Mostly floral with a bit of fruit, this fragrance is great for cocktails with the girls!

7. DKNY- Be Delicious
This fragrance is wildly delicious but be careful, it's super strong so avoid spraying it on too heavily. It's super sweet, great for young, fun, flirty girls!
DKNY Be Delicious

8. DKNY- Be Delicious Juiced
If you want something a bit more subtle, Juiced is a great blend of apple and florals. It's a little more sophisticated and calm.

9. Chanel- Chance
This fragrance is bright, fruity, floral and best for a sunny day. It's gentle, delicate and feminine.

10. Chanel- Coco Madmoiselle
This sweet floral is Chance's older sister. Very strong and classic. Spray on sparingly or it will definitely be overpowering.

Colorblock Everything!

Colorblocking is an easy to master look that was popular in the 80's and 90's and will be around for a while. To update this classic look, pair your colorblock dress, leggings, sweaters etc. with trendy pieces that are in for the moment!

1. I love these early 90's suede Versace boots, the jewel tones are great! Of course, it would take a special fashionista to pull these off...Channel your inner Denise Huxtable :)

Current Obsession!!

I LOVE LACE BRAS!!

I've been obsessed with lace bras since I bought my first true lace bra two summers ago. Sure, I've had bras with lace on them but these bras are much much more than that. These bras use the elasticity of lace to add support, comfort, versatility and style that regular bras just don't have. I have them in every color (floral, black, nude, pink, blue), in every cup style (demi, full, push up, t-shirt), in every strap style (racerback, strapless, classic, halter). I can't get enough of them and I wear them just about every day.

I can't say much more than that!

1. This is from the Victoria's Secret Emma Collection. It's great for flowy floral tanks in the summer.

2. This Emma is great because the straps never show on my racerback tanks.

3. This racerback Emma is good for light colored tanks so that the straps blend. I also wear it with blu and purple loose fitting T's and tanks.

4. This Cosabella removable halter is an amazing push up! Choose your top wisely because you'll definitely gain a cup size with this bra.

5. This Cosabella bra is the most comfortable of them all. It's my goto t-shirt bra but I also layer it with other bras for extra support or under tanks when I want the pretty lace to show.
Cosabella Never Say Never

6. This is the classic Emma. It's an every day bra that I choose based on the color of my shirt.

7. This is the same Classic Emma in blue.

8. This Kimichi Blue lace bandeau is great for sheer tanks and can be worn by itself or on top of a strapless bra
