Look Of The Day

I wore this crochet dress to Sunday brunch and open house at ZFL. I love crochet because it's so feminine and the cream color will transition easily into fall. The best part about this look is that I bought this dress from TJ Maxx for $3...yes, really $3! Woot.

Let's Talk Storage

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I don't have anywhere to put all of my beauty products, jewelry, perfume, hair products and any other things that I have hoard that don't have a place to go. I am constantly on a mission to find storage for all of my stuff since there's no point in having it if you can't access it easily. Here are some of the things that I use to help me stay organized!

I got this rolling storage shelf with drawers at Marshalls for $25. It was easy to put together and since it's on wheels, I can roll it to wherever I'm doing my hair and have all of my products, clips, combs, and flat irons etc. The things that are on top are things that I use every day so they're  right at my fingertips instead of inside of the drawers.

I got this A Tartan Tale collection last Christmas. The lip glosses came in tin cans that I now use to hold change and other little things like buttons.

My Cube is my one true love, I don't know how I ever lived without it :) It was on my holiday gift list last year and it really is amazing. I organized mine loosely based on eyes, lips, face and nails categories. It's really easy to find what you need when they're stored neatly.

Storing my jewelry was previously a problem because I only had these two boxes but they didn't hold enough. I use these now for things that I don't wear every day and for oddly shaped things like a million bangles and bib necklaces.

This hanging bag with pockets was about $10 at Marshalls and it's double sided. I keep necklaces separated in this bag so that I don't have to worry about untangling when I'm ready to wear one.

These two racks are also from Marshalls and they were $15 and $10. The one on the left rotates and has a different type of rack on each of the four sides. The one on the right is double sided.

I hope this helps all of you who were struggling like me to keep everything in order! If you have any questions about anything you see here or inside the storage containers, feel free to ask!

Look Of The Day

I went to Vieques Island, Puerto Rico for Valentine's Day. I love PR and the W Resort was amaaaaazing! I lounged around in comfy dresses over my bikinis the whole time and this was my favorite. This jersey dress was easy to pull on and off, dried fast, didn't wrinkle too much and wasn't hot. I wore this dress with slim Havianas. I don't think regular Havianas are flattering on my feet, lol. Anyway, I fell in love with these two Essie colors and have been wearing them obsessively since then :)
My sister and I have loved Swatch watches since we were kids. This one wraps around twice, it's rubber and it's waterproof! I got my sis one in light blue when I bought this one.

Look Of The Day

Some of my favorite neighbors had a bday party the other weekend...it was crazy and so much fun! Don't judge me because I was CLEARY in celebration mode! Not necessarily my most focused moment :)  I love love this dress because it's so summery and reminds me of vacation! The nautical stripes are def in right now and the orange stripe at the bottom is a cute contrast to the blue and white.

Sorry for the picture quality...these are some iPhone fuzzies :(  So I never took any pictures standing at the party...so the standing picture is from when I tried it on in the store.

Look Of The Day

Jeans and a T and I'm off to the movies. I got these sun glasses at TJ Maxx for $10 before a trip to the beach. I figured they would get scratched up by the sand and or lost in the process of shopping. They didn't have a name, a tag or anything but I liked them and they were cheap. I didn't lose them and they didn't get scratched :)

T-shirt dresses are a summer staple of mine. I normally belt mine and go with flats for a casual look. Here's what I wore shopping, the other day. I love the orange accent at the zipper!

Look Of The Day

I went to a wedding in Florida last weekend...it was so hot but the wedding was beautiful!
This is what I wore :)
Dress- Parker
Shoes- YSL
Bag- Nine West

I know my face looks really weird in this picture, but it was the best one of my hair. I didn't have this flower in my hair at the wedding...I put it in as I was leaving, it was part of the table decorations.

Look Of The Day

If you know me, you know how much I love Marshall's and TJ Maxx. Here's one reason why... this dress was a random find from Marshall's that cost me a whopping $15! It's one of those great, fuss-free, throw on and automatically look cute, go-to dresses (we all have them)! I especially love that the belt came with it, which means I don't have to look for something that works. I also love the lace back, an unexpected, fun twist to an otherwise normal nautical cotton dress. I wore my dress with Tom's, which are equally fuss-free and my Zara bag that I've been wearing all summer :)

Trending for Summer: Tunic

Summer trends aren't just for adults. These three amazing girls take on the tunic in three different, stylish ways!

F is an adorable four year old, who wore this ensemble to a movie date with her mom! This floral, dolman sleeved tunic, paired with summer white skinnies is so boho chic. Her white bow and bright floral sandals are perfect accessories and so stinkin cute :)

Sandals- Old Navy

Alex, is a spunky six year old who describes her style as "cool". She loves comfy clothes so this oversized tunic paired with leggings was perfect. At six, flip flops always find their way faaaar away from her feet, so neutral sandals with straps are ideal, plus so cute :)

Savaan's long and lean frame lends itself well to boyfriend styles. Her hooded tunic has a tie at the waist to balance the fullness of the top and boyfriend jeans. The beautiful, self proclaimed "pre-tween"is successfully finding her balance between little girl and teen ;)

Look Of The Day

So, I know I've been slacking...here's what I wore to go have wine with friends. I wore this maxi with casual, chunky heels because it's too long with flats. I don't like for maxi skirts or dresses to drag on the ground. If they do, I put on wedges, wear the skirt high-waisted or get the dress hemmed.
