Loving Leather Jackets

When the weather is unpredictable, you need to wear a coat, you don't want something huge and bulky...reach for your favorite little leather. Warm enough for chilly winter days, perfect over dresses or with slacks. Add accessories galore and of course a hat, scarf and gloves and hit the town!

Look Of The Day

This past weekend, I went to a few birthday parties. This tunic is easy to wear belted or unbelted. The heavy woven fabric is great for the winter and I loved the beaded neckline!

Shift Into The 60's

A shift dress is a straight dress, generally sleeveless with no waist shaping or seam. Lots of designers are taking a twist on the classic style by adding sleeves, empire waist or collar. Shift dresses are great because they're appropriate for work and cute for cocktails, the perfect day to night look!

Doing Some Shopping In Clogs And They Are So Comfortable. They Give You A Smarter Look With Minimal Effort! I Took This Picture At My Mom and Dad's House And Their Christmas Decorations Are So Pretty...Makes Me Wanna Get My Christmas Tree Today!

*I have on a sheer shirt here, a lot of people wear tank tops under their sheer shirts but I like to go with a really pretty (and understated) bra. I have the Kimichi Blue bandeau from Urban Outfitters in a pale pink but it's not very supportive. I have the Emma Racerback from Victoria's Secret in a pink and tan flower print. It's super supportive and comfy. As long as the rest of your outfit is not so revealing, it can be a nice look*

Trending Forever: Trench Coats

Trench coats are a timeless classic. Invest in a good quality trench coat and you'll have it forever. A cotton or twill trench is great on cool spring days and goes great over layered looks in the fall. In the winter, pair your wool, leather or fur lined trench coats with gloves, a scarf and hat to keep warm. There are so many styles when it comes to this classic piece...here are a few of my favs!

Burberry Wool Lined Aviator Trench
*washed leather creates a worn look with contrasting collar*

D&G Military Green Cropped Wool Trench
*double breasted military style in a great neutral green*

Burberry Twill Trench
*light color with contrasting buttons for an ultra structured look*

Ralph Lauren Black Label Wool-Cashmere Trench
*great winter option, wool-cashmere blend in black can be worn every day*

Lanvin Washed Taffeta Trench
*this one is my fav because it flares from the waist, i love that it's so feminine*

Milly Piped Stretch Twill Trench
*the black piping gives this coat major detail*

Elizabeth and James Belted Twill Trench
*classic khaki color with a gun flap and epaulettes at the shoulder*

Burberry London Dégradé Check Print
*the plaid pattern and fading color is a great choice for something different from the norm*
